Rosa, Day-bed, and Lighthouse

Palau de Casavells, Girona, 2019
Developed to coexist in gardens and backyards under the production of “Side Gallery”, an art gallery specializing in modern and contemporary furniture, “Rosa” is a day bed that camouflages itself within an ecosystem as if it were a living entity.

“Rosa” has legs, a mouth, and a light that lights up at night like a firefly. At the same time, a bowl-shaped surface measuring 2 meters in diameter allows you to rest, read, or simply sleep outside protected from the wind.

Its legs, raised above the ground using wheels, allow the ecosystem to continue without impact, and the entire wooden structure of more than 6 meters high is covered with high-density polyurethane foam that ensures its waterproofing and protection against adverse weather agents, and its low need for maintenance.
