Mysterious beasts of the Hermès rooftop garden
Hong Kong, 2024
Faubourg Rooftop Hidden Garden accumulates many layers of secret stories that have inhabited it throughout the years. From the times of World War II where it became a self-sufficient farming oasis in the middle of the dense hard city, to the leisurely fruit-bearing hideaway that it is today, a whole ecosystem of diverse creatures develop their daily routines, unaware of the hustle and bustle of the city: The apple tree, the birds singing, the chevalier and Yasmina Demnati the gardener share this space with pollinators, earthworms, flowers and fruits that turn this garden into one of the most precious treasures in Faubourg.
This Winter, in Landmark Prince, some of the creatures in Faubourg Garden have taken the form of a sort of monster, appearing as third natures at the building's windows. These monsters incorporate the colors, the species, the smells and the sounds of Faubourg, as well as hiding some of their mysteries.
